The European women’s doubles Champions, Stefani and Gabriela Stoeva will find their name on the schedule for the Sunday’s finals at the SaarLorLux Open 2018.

The World number nine faced English underdogs Chloe Birch and Lauren Smith in the semi-finals on Saturday, but the World number 79 was ready to put up a fight against the French Open finalists.

During the first game the English were in the lead multiple times and Smith and Birch even had a game point, but despite being under pressure the Stoeva sisters won the first game 22-20.

- It started well. We played the right game to begin with, and we really challenged them in that first game. I think we should really had taken that first game, Chloe Birch said.

A tough match
In the second game the defending European Champions were in control, and the Stoeva Sisters are ready for their second final in eight days after winning 22-20 21-8.

- It was a pretty tough match. We have watched them a couple of times, and they play very good, so we are happy, that we could take this one, Gabriela Stoeva says.
