On Day one  of the YONEX French Open, Mia Blichfeldt and Pusarla V. Sindhu got
the chance to revenge for former matches from the DANISA Denmark Open.

Both Mia Blichfeldt and Pusarla V. Sindhu reached the round of 16 at the YONEX French Open in Women’s Singles on Tuesday.

Mia Blichfeldt is seeking revenge in the next round of the tournament, whereas Pusarla V. Sindhu could already make up for the defeat against Beiwen Zhang at the DANISA Denmark Open last week.

Pusarla won with 21-17 and 21-8 against her opponent from the USA.

- Last week, I lost the match because of mistakes that I made. Today I did less mistakes and could win after the second game, the Indian said after the match.

A second chance

After winning against Linda Zetchiri from Bulgaria with 21-7 and 21-5, Mia Blichfeldt is also facing her former opponent from the DANISA Denmark Open, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.

- I definitely want to revenge against Mariska, the Dane said after the match against her European opponent.

- I played a good match in a good tempo today. I was a bit faster than Linda, Blichfeldt said.
