Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge continues beating the favourites at the DANISA Denmark Open.

In the second round of the BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament Ellis and Langridge beat the second seed, and in the quarter-final the English once again were the underdog.

Ellis and Langridge, who currently is ranked 29 in the World, met Liao Min Chun and Su Ching Heng from Chinese Taipei (ranked 15) in the men’s doubles quarter-final.

Liao and Su won the first game 21-17, while the defending Commonwealth Champions due to a good start won the second game 21-16 in a match where the tension was high.

‘Crazy match’
Marcus Ellis and Chris Langridge continued to impress at this year’s Denmark Open. The World number 29 is ready for the semi-finals beating Liao and Su 22-20 In the decider.

- It was a crazy match. There is not much other to say, Langridge says.

- We should not had put us selves in that position, where it gets tight, because we had a 4-5 point lead, but sometimes you just has to fight through it, Ellis says.
