Gabby and Chris Adcock can continue the European tour and catch the plane to Paris after losing at the quarter-finals at DANISA Denmark Open.

The Chinese top seeds Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong were on to a good start leading 11-8 at the interval in the first game, and the Adcocks struggled in the defence. The back-to-back European Mixed doubles Champions lost the first game 21-12.

- The first game was gone so quick, so it is hard to remember now. They were just better in everything, Chris Adcock says.

- They didn’t miss a thing
The struggle continued in the second game as the Chinese were up 11-3 at the interval. The Chinese top seed won the second game 21-7.

- It is very frustrating. It is a combination us rushing the game and not taking our time, and they did not miss a thing, Gabby Adcock says.

- If we had played like this in the first two matches we would had lost, Chris Adcock adds.

The Adcocks are now flying to Paris to play French Open starting next week.
