The ambitions are clear: Beatriz Corrales wants to win Belgian International.

Beatriz Corrales was under pressure in the first game of the first match at Belgian International 2018. Gayle Mahulette was leading 11-7 and was also leading 20-17, but Corralles fought back and one the first game 23-21.

Corrales won the second game 21-16 and is ready to play Amalie Hertz from Denmark in the second round.

- It was not an easy match. Gayle is getting better tournament by tournament. It was tough, and I also made some easy mistakes. I need to be more focused, Corrales says.

Ambitions are to win
Beatriz Corrales is seeded one and is ranked 29 in the World. She is the one to watch in the women’s singles category at the Belgian International.

- My ambition is to win. I know I always say the same which is that I want to take it round by round but it works for me, Corrales says.

- As I said the first round was tough, and if you are not focus, you can lose, so I take it opponent by opponent.
