Line Christophersen joined her team mates in Tallinn yesterday and got her first taste of the team action this morning in Denmark’s final group match against Bulgaria. As one of the rising stars of Danish women’s singles Christophersen is one of the hot favourites to win the women’s singles title this week and success in Tallinn is one of her season goals.

- It was nice to come and join the team here for this final group match and get a feel for the hall and the shuttles said Christophersen after winning the opening women’s singles against Bulgaria.

As always Denmark are one of the favourites for the team title but Christophersen has a clear focus for this week and the months ahead.

- There is big competition here to win from many good teams but for there I have a big focus on individual gold as it is one of my main goals this season. After that I want to go to the world juniors and push for a medal there. These are my main objectives this season.

Denmark’s big competition this week comes from reigning champions France with Germany and Russia looking like they have the fire power to threaten the podium.
