Two European players participate in India

Hyderabad is a place to keep in mind, at least for the upcoming week. From the 4-9 of September 2018 the capital of the Indian state Telangana hosts the Hyderabad Open. Two European players have decided to take a long journey to participate in this tournament.

The Hyderabad Open have been invented in 2018 and are going to be implemented annually. The tournament is part of the BWF World Tour and is organised by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and the Badminton Association of India (BAI). 

Zilberman and Garg for Europe
This year two European players are participating: Misha Zilberman from Israel and Nikhar Garg from England.

Whereas the duo of the Indian born Garg and the Australian Atharva Shinde was dropped out in the first round, Misha Zilberman is directly qualified for the second round. The current world ranked number 50 plays his first game on Wednesday at 12.25 local time. 

Zilberman who was born in Russia, is known for participating in tournaments that are taking place all over the world. Since today, the 29-year-old won 282 times in his career. His motto: “Enjoying the feeling of winning”
