Focus on junior tournaments

Nhat Nguyen talked to Badminton Europe about his thoughts on his ranking position on the BWF world ranking list. The world no. 3 in BWF junior rankings is not only succeeding in junior tournaments but also doing well in elite level. However, his focus is on his performance in the junior level:

-At the moment I am not too worried or concerned about my senior world ranking because I have a lot of important junior tournaments this year – European Junior Championships, Youth Olympic Games and World Junior Championships.

- For the next year – “Olympic qualifying year”, I will have to play and travel a lot more to qualify for Tokyo 2020, which is the plan.
