This year 8 girls took part in the RSL BEC Summer School 2018 while receiving the Women in Badminton scholarships from Badminton Europe.
Megan Bredin (Ireland), Carla Strauss (Germany), Bianca Schiester (Austria), Megumi Sonoda (Italy), Tea Forsthuber (Slovenia), Marie Svedell (Sweden), Kaisa Simon (Estonia), and Thea Johansen (Norway) were participating in the Coach Education level 1 course which was delivered at the Summer School.
It has been an intensive week with a lot of work and new resources to go through, but the Summer School is also a great social experience with a lot of nice activities. As the Summer School is also a training camp for junior players, the girls have been able through the Coach Education level 1 course to deliver training session to the young players. A great way to get experience as a coach!
