Malkov climbing higher on the men's doubles world ranking list

Russia’s Vladimir Malkov has climbed two spots up on the BWF men’s singles world ranking list, occupying position no. 47. 

Malkov, who has qualified for the World Championships, will play three more tournaments in the coming months - White Nights, Thailand tour 500 and Russian Open. He shared his thoughts about his current ranking position with Badminton Europe:

-I am glad to rise in the world ranking. But I understand that this is still not enough. I am aiming for top 20 in the world and hope I can achieve it this year. 

Higher positions 
Brice Leverdez (France) has moved one spot up to occupy position no. 23 on the men’s singles world ranking list. 

Mark Caljouw (Netherlands) has climbed 5 spots up, currently standing on position no. 25. Another French player Lucas Corvee is standing on position no. 35 after climbing four spots up. 

Israel’s Misha Zilberman has climbed for spots up to occupy position no. 49. 

Career-best rankings

Mads Conrad Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding (Denmark) have reached their career-best ranking position – no. 4 as they have climbed one spot up on the men’s doubles world ranking list. 

Mathias Christiansen/Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) are on top 5 on the mixed doubles world ranking list.

England’s Marcus Ellis/Lauren Smith have climbed eight spots up to occupy position no. 7 on the mixed doubles world ranking list.
