The HSBC BWF World Super tour 300 tournament US Open has started yesterday in Fullerton, California. The tournament started with qualifications and most first round mixed doubles matches.
Cheryl Seinen and Robin Tabeling (The Netherlands) were one of the mixed doubles pairs who had to come in action. In the first round they faced Sittichai Viboonsin (Thailand)/Jing yu Hong (USA) and won in straight sets.
- This match was a nice one to get in the flow, Seinen commented to Badminton Europe.
- It was also good to get used to the hall; there is a little bit of wind.
