Milan Ludik: I feel great to be back in COE

Badminton Europe’s “Centre of Excellence” player Milan Ludik (Czech Republic) is currenty world no. 97 on the BWF men’s singles world ranking list. He is back to the COE for more trainings after a long trip in New Zealand and Australia, also playing in the European Championship before those two.

-I feel great to be back in COE. I have gained a lot of motivation and experience from my tournaments in Oceania and looking forward to start working on the things I have learnt, Ludik tells Badminton Europe.

The highest ranked COE player has also qualified for the World Championships to be held in Nanjing, China:

-My next peak will be world Championships in China. I am very proud to represent my country on this big event. I will do maximum to prepare my very best.
Europeans in top 20 remain unshaken
Viktor Axelsen (Denmark) is confidently standing on position no. 1 on the men’s singles world ranking list. Anders Antonsen (Denmark) occupies position no. 16.

The three women’s singles players on world top 20 are Carolina Marin (Spain), Mia Blichfeldt (Denmark) and Kirsty Gilmour (Scotland). They occupy positions no. 6, no. 18 and no. 19 respectively.

Men’s doubles world ranking list has Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (Denmark) on position no. 2. Mads Conrad –Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding (Denmark) are standing on position no. 5. Russia’s Vladimir Ivanov/Ivan Sozonov (world no. 10) are following world no. 9 pair Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (Denmark). And the last men’s doubles pair on top 20 is England’s Marcus Ellis/Chris Langridge.
Kamilla Rytter Juhl/Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) are standing on position no. 3 on the women’s doubles world ranking list.  Bulgaria’s Gabriela Stoeva/Stefani Stoeva are world no. 9. Denmark’s Maiken Fruergaard/Sara Thygesen occupy position no. 20.

Mathias Christiansen/Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) are currently world no. 6 on the mixed doubles world ranking list. England’s Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock are standing on position no. 11. Marcus Ellis/Lauren Smith (England) occupy position no. 16. 

On position no. 17 are Mark Lamsfuss/Isabel Herttrich (Germany). Jacco Arends/Selena Piek (Netherlands) are following them on position no. 18. And the last mixed doubles player in top 20 is Marvin Emil Seidel/Linda Efler (Germany).
