Kim Astrup/ Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (Denmark) moved one spot up on the BWF men’s doubles world ranking list published on Thursday. The men’s doubles European champions are currently world no. 9.

-It feels great to become European Champions, and we always enjoy standing on top of the podium. We will keep chasing bigger results, we still have bigger dreams than becoming European Champions, Kim Astrup tells Badminton Europe, adding

-It feels great to be back in top 10 and we are chasing the no. 8 spot so we are getting into the top 8 seeded in every tournament. So we have to do well in the next months and hopefully we will take a step further up the ranking.

European Championships medalists in close fight

Men’s doubles bronze medalists Vladimir Ivanov/Ivan Sozonov (Russia) are in a close fight with the Danes after climbing one spot up to enter the top 10.

Silver medalists Mads Conrad-Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding also moved one spot up, becoming world no 5.

Brice Leverdez (France) climbed one spot up occupying position no. 23 on the men’s singles world ranking list. The 2018 European bronze medalist has 40604 points, 35 points away from the current European silver medalist Rajiv Ouseph (England) who is standing on position no. 22.
