Sabrina Jaquet (Switzerland) is world no. 67 on this week’s BWF women’s singles world ranking list. The 2017 European bronze medalist was one of the Europeans playing in New Zealand Open last week and Australian Open this week.

-My current ranking is not where I want to stand yet but it’s moving in the right direction and I’m happy to see the progress every week, Jaquet tells Badminton Europe.

She is aiming to climb up in the ranking list again to be able to enter higher level tournaments. However, currently she has one important focus:

- I’m mostly focused on getting to my old form again and then the results will automatically come. It’s still a long way to go but patience is the key!

New positions for men’s singles

Mark Caljouw (Netherlands) moved one spot up to occupy position no. 32 on the men’s singles world ranking list.

Lucas Corvee (France) and Pablo Abian (Spain) are standing side by side on positions no. 42 and 43 respectively. They have both climbed one spot up.

Denmark’s Emil Holst and Jan O Jorgensen are both two spots up this week, occupying positions no. 46 and 50 respectively.

Few changes for doubles

Jelle Maas/Robin Tabeling (Netherlands) climbed one spot up, standing on position no. 34. England’s Ben Lane/Sean Vendy moved one spot up to occupy position no. 40 on the men’s doubles world ranking list.

France’s Delphine Delrue/Lea Palermo and Germany’s Johanna Goliszewski/Lara Kaepplein are sticking together on the women’s doubles world ranking list as the both pairs moved one spot up, standing on positions no. 40 and no. 41 respectively.

On the mixed doubles world ranking list Germany’s Marvin Emil Seidel/Linda Efler and Russia’s Evgenij Dremin/Evgenia Dimova are standing side by side on positions no. 19 and no. 20.
