Longing to Minsk

In the summer of 2019, the second edition of the European Games will be held. Minsk, the capital of Belarus, has the honour to host this great event. Lianne Tan (Belgium) left an unforgettable mark in badminton during the first European Games in Baku.

- I would definitely like to participate in the European Games again!

In Baku she won the silver medal in women’s singles, which came as a bit of a surprise to many - including herself.

- That silver medal was really unexpected and therefore one of the most beautiful medals in my career!

First study, then Minsk

Right now Tan is more focusing on her dentistry study, which she plans to finish in a few months. Nevertheless, she is already looking forward to play in Minsk

- It will be difficult to exceed my medal in Baku.

- The beautiful memories in Baku make me excited for Minsk!
