The elections for vice-presidents of the board of directors during Badminton Europe’s 51st Annual Delegates’ Meeting resulted in Andrey Antropov and João Matos for the periods of 2018-2021 and 2018-2020, respectively.

Andrey Antropov from Russia, João Matos from Portugal and Murat Özmekik from Turkey were all up for re-election as vice-presidents, but the board would for the time being only accept two.

44 voting member associations were present during the 51st Annual Delegates’ Meeting (ADM) and the election revealed that Andrey Antropov and João Matos will continue in their roles as vice-presidents for the confederation.

The candidate that received the most votes is elected until 2021 and the candidate that received the second highest votes is elected until 2020.

President Gregory Verpoorten thanked Murat Özmekik for his service and great work as vice-president for Badminton Europe.
