30 teams are coming to Ankara

The entry deadline for the 2013 European Junior Team Championships has passed, and a satisfying number of 30 teams have entered this prestigious event which will take place in the Turkish capital from 22-26 March 2013. 30 teams have entered the team event at the European Junior Championships which will be played the days leading up to the individual events.

The entered teams are:
Austria, Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, France and Wales.
 
Back in 2011 it was Germany who was crowned at European Champions (pictured) after beating Russia in the final in Vantaa, Finland. Denmark and Ukraine took the bronze medal.
 
The seeding for the team event will be announced on Tuesday 22 January 2013. The draw will take place on Badminton Europe’s office in Copenhagen on Tuesday 29 January 2013, and will be published on www.badmintoneurope.com shortly after.
