Jan Colin/Bjarne Geiss from Germany won the KaBaL International Karviná 2018 in men’s doubles, and Jan Colin admits that they didn’t expect to win the tournament.

It was a huge win for the German pair in men’s doubles Jan Colin/Bjarne Geiss, when they won the KaBaL International Karviná 2018 against their countrymen Peter Käsbauer/Johannes Pistorius with 21-13/21-14.

- So right now, both of us are really happy, and it really means a lot for us because it’s our first title, says Jan Colin to Badminton Europe, and he hopes that it’s a beginning to win a lot of titles.

- It’s really big for us, as I said it’s the first senior title for us, it’s really special and hopefully the begin of many titles.

Didn’t expect to win

- We didn’t expect to win this tournament, when we arrived in Czech. We didn’t drop one set so our game was really good this week. We struggled a bit in the semi-final, but especially today we could bring our A-Game, ends Jan Colin to Badminton Europe.

The next event for Jan Colin/Bjarne Geiss will be the Orleans International.
