Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen have made it into the 2018 Yonex All England final in women’s doubles! In two games they beat upcoming Japanese Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara, who in their turn beat the 2016 Olympic champions.

- Fantastic to be in the final again! Pedersen told Badminton Europe after their match.

Rytter Juhl had been sick for two weeks, so the Danish pair was not sure if they would be ready on time for this important tournament.

- Before the tournament started, I would not have believed you if you said we will be ready for the final on Sunday, Pedersen continued.

Attack the game

Pedersen and Rytter Juhl also reached the All England final last year. They lost that final and are trying to handle things differently this year.

We learned from last year that we did not attack the game enough. SoI can promise you that we will try attack the situation tomorrow, Pedersen said.

- We know that it will be a difficult match to play. A final here is special.
