Yesterday was already thriller of a first round, but Mia Blichfeldt (Denmark) did it again: She beat Michelle Li from Canada!

After a match like yesterday against Corrales (Spain), it is really hard to get more nervous than that. Mia Blichfeldt seemed a lot more calm today and Michelle Li had to pay the price for that.

- I am happy that I kept my nerves! Blichfeldt stated to Badminton Europe

Other than that, Blichfeldt just had a solid plan for Li

- I was aggressive and got the offense. I knew the net game was important and I managed to pull that off, Blichfeldt commented about her match.

Happy!

It is the first time for Blichfeldt competing at the All England Open. Reaching quarter finals is then even more amazing!

- It’s a good feeling Blichfeld told Badminton Europe

- I haven’t hoped for it so… It is really nice!!
