Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen (Denmark) won their second match in the Dubai World Super Series Finals. In three long games they beat Hsu Ya Ching and Wu Ti Jung from Chinese Taipei.
‘Once again we can bring you some good news’ Juhl and Pedersen wrote on their facebook page. ‘After our win today we have secured a spot in the semi-final on Saturday!’
It is the second win for Juhl and Pedersen in their group. On the first day they already overcame Jung Kyung Eun/Shin Seung Chan from South Korea.
Their final group match will decide if they go to the semi-finals as the number 1 or 2 of group B. This will be heavy loaded match, as their opponents Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota also won both of their matches.

Victories for Danish Men’s doubles pairs.
Mads Conrad Petersen and Mads Pieler Kolding overcame their defeat of the first day and won their second group match. In two solid games they managed to beat Chinese pair Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen.
This means that the cards are still open for them to progress to the semi-finals. They will have a tough challenge against Japanese pair Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda, who won both of their matches so far.
In the other group, Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen are already secured of a semi-final spot as they also won their second group match to Jhe-Huei/Yang (Chinese Taipei). Just like their female team mates, Boe and Mogensen will play the number 1 or 2 match against World Champions Liu Chen and Zhang Nan (China).

No good day for Adcock’s and Axelsen
Chris and Gabrielle Adcock (England) had a tough cookie against World Champions Ahmad and Natsir (Indonesia). In three games 18-21 21-18 and 21-14 they just fell short to the Indonesian pair.
Also Viktor Axelsen (Denmark) saw his game just slip away against Shi Yuqi (China). After one hour and 13 minutes the match did not end in the favour of Axelsen, resulting in 21-13 18-21 17-21. As Axelsen stated himself on his facebook page: ‘Not quite satisfied with the end of the third game.’
In his last match he will face Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei.
‘I will keep my head high and be ready for a good fight tomorrow!’
