Ravn was up against Chinese pair Yuting Xia and Zhang Shuxian. With Yuting Xia being the number 10 seed, this game was going to betough.

They began the game off with a bang winning the first set 15-21.

Unfortunately the final two sets didn’t go their way as they lost 21-11 and 21-9.

Speaking on her doubles match, Ravn said: “I’m very happy with our performance today and this week, we have been playing very well.”

In terms of the match today and the result she said: “Today we had a great first set, unfortunately our level fell after the break of serve in the second set.”

Despite the results, Ravn said she was ‘very happy’ and that the day had gone ‘much better than she had expected.’
