Bengisu Erçetin and Nazlıcan Inci have made some big jumps on the World ranking this year and the list of the best women’s doubles in the world show that the Turkish pair continue their streak.

The upgoing streak started in February 2017, where they jumped from ranking 525 to 287. In May, they jumped 98 spots followed by 53 in July.

That continued with 24 spots in August and, additionally, 24 in September, which today has landed them a career high ranking as no. 79.

The points behind the increasing ranking comes from persistent results during the last couple of months, where they have won Bulgarian Junior International in August and finished second at Bulgarian Open the following week.

Furthermore, they finished as runner ups Hellas Open in the beginning of September and made it to the semi-final last week, at Czech Open.

World Juniors is next
Erçetin, 16, and Inci, 17, are going to compete at BWF World Junior Championships 2017, which is organised in Indonesia this week and the following.

The two of them hope to keep up their previous championship results; a silver medal at European U17 Championships last year, and, reaching the third round at European Junior Championships this year.

The jump from no. 97 to no. 79 took place last week, but the newest ranking reveals that the Turkish pair kept their current ranking one more week.
