On the third day of the BWF World Junior Championships, Danish mixed player Alexandra Bøje with her partner Jesper Toft have had a more than successful day.

They started off the day by beating their first opponents in two straight sets, 21-19, 21-17. They were playing against Hong Kong’s Chow Hin Long and Leung Sze Lok.

Speaking after her first team match, Bøje said:
“I think everyone played a great match and fought with all they had, which resulted in a 5-1 victory.”

They then went onto play Brazil the mixed team final stage tonight where they took another victory winning 3-2.

When asked how she felt her second match had gone she said:

“It was a bit of a messy team match, we came down 0-2 but fought back and won 3-2.”

Describing her day overall Bøje said she and her team were ‘happy and satisfied’ with the two wins from today.
