Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen (Denmark) have climbed one spot and are back at as the no. 1 men’s doubles in the world.

The men’s doubles have been candidates for the top position throughout most of their professional career, but after Mogensen’s break, due to a brain aneurysm, they have dropped a bit.

But on 15 June 2017, they made their comeback to the top of the world, and today they can reclaim that position.

5 Europeans in top 5
Europe is represented in all five events in the top of the world rankings, as European players are placed on all the top-five spots.

With Mogensen and Boe as no. 1s, Viktor Axelsen placed as no. 2, and Rytter Juhl and Pedersen taking the position as no. 3.

The mixed double bronze medalists, Chris and Gabrielle Adcock (England), are still to be found on their career-high placement as no. 4, while the former women’s singles no. 1, Carolina Marin of Spain, has occupied the spot as no. 5 since 24 August this year.
