From 5th to 10th of July 2017 was held a Badminton Europe Regional Project in Tbilisi, Georgia. The camp was gathering players and coaches from Georgia, Greece and Armenia. With a program offering training sessions twice a day, the participants had a intensive badminton week.

The 22 players (8 from Georgia, 8 from Armenia and 6 from Greece) worked hard and enjoyed meeting new players, discovering new training approaches and also having free time to visit the city.

"We are very satisfied with the time spent together. We will be happy to come again on a similar event" says Greek coach, Elgkouta Lamprianidis.
They were able to work on specific trainings on technics and tactics for the movement on court. Svetlana Vartanian is the Georgian head coach and was very positive about the camp: "The teams had a very good experience, we could increased our skills and we are now all better prepared for future competitions."

Organizers already discussed about a potential new Regional Project in Georgia next year.
Badminton Europe is happy to provide its help in the development of badminton through those projects and hopes Georgia will again hold these valuable camps.
