Yesterday was the last training day of the camp that started on Thursday. After morning and evening sessions focusing on technique for the former and intensity for the later, the last two hours were about intense matches.

A three-against-three match was played as warm up and followed by singles one-set matches for the 5 remaining players; Karin Schnaase of Germany also joined the trainings to offer some additional sparring opportunities to the Team Europe players. With close to no break between each match, players had to push themselves to keep up with the high pace of the rallies. After the 10 matches were over, players called it a wrap for this Team Europe 2012 training camp.

Today will be a resting day, especially for the players flying to Birmingham for the Yonex All England Open, which is starting tomorrow.

The next training camp for the players will be most probably this summer, as a preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games.
