Tomorrow will be the first working day for the new employee of Badminton Europe. Marie-Anne Midy has moved from France to Denmark to take up the position as Badminton Europe’s Development Manager. The former Development Manager Lina Engl was seeking new challenges and has left Badminton Europe at the end of November.

Marie-Anne grew up in southern Paris and was working for European Athletics (Confederation) in the Development area. She studied in France and in the United States and finished with an AISTS (“Sports management”) master’s degree from Lausanne University. In her youth days she was a top climber and member of the French youth national team.

As Development Manager, Marie-Anne will be responsible for the implementation of all different development projects of Badminton Europe. These include working on the Olympic Projects, Summer School, Regional Projects, School Projects, Equipment Distribution, Coach Education as well as Court Officials Education. She is looking forward to providing services to our member associations in the Development area.

Badminton Europe is very pleased with the employment of Marie-Anne Midy as she, with the expertise she brings to the organization, will be a valuable asset for Badminton Europe.
