Badminton Europe is going to organize a Shuttle Time coordinator´s seminar on 3 and 4 December 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark. “We are working with Shuttle Time since 2012 and we feel that it is time to bring all the coordinators from each country together to share their ideas, network and to inform them about the support we will offer in 2016. I hope that the seminar will be fruitful and that we help our members to develop Shuttle Time even more” says Jeroen van Dijk, Manager at Badminton Europe.

Currently 27 European countries are implementing Shuttle Time and a few new countries are also preparing to start the implementation. These countries are Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Serbia and Spain, who are expected to run their first courses in the beginning of 2016.

In 2015 a total of 105 Shuttle Time teachers’ courses and 21 tutors’ courses have been delivered so far by our Member Associations. 6800 certificated Shuttle Time teachers, 558 certificated Shuttle Time tutors and certificated Shuttle Time 45 trainers have been educated until now.

Badminton Europe is aiming to have 40 countries implementing Shuttle Time, who will educate at least 20.000 Shuttle Time teachers, 750 Shuttle Time tutors and 60 Shuttle Time trainers by 2020.
