The badminton legends Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat, Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade, are coming to Denmark with “The Legends' Vision supported by Yonex”.
Four of the world's biggest badminton stars; Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat, Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade, are coming to Denmark with “The Legends' Vision World Tour”, which takes place on the 11th of October 2015 in the Solrød Hall as the only place in Europe.
“The Legends' Vision” is hosted in four countries; China, Indonesia, Denmark and Malaysia. The first event was held in May in Beijing, China, the second in August in Jakarta, Indonesia, and in Copenhagen in October and the tour ends in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in December.
Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat, Peter Gade and Lee Chong Wei have won the greatest titles in badminton; together they have won three Olympic gold medals, six World Championships and nine All England titles - now they want to give something back to the sport.
The purpose of “The Legends' Vision” is to inspire the younger generation thus increasing the awareness and popularity of badminton across the globe. The four badminton legends want to spread the joy of the sport through exhibition matches.

The event starts with the four legends participating in a talk show where they talk about their vision, their view of the badminton sport and its future, and how they want to be involved in shaping the sport future wise.
In the second part of the event the legends play exhibition matches against one another and with selected junior players to give the young people a chance of trying their skills against some of badminton’s greatest players ever. They are providing engaging demonstrations and are sharing their unique skills on court; providing the younger generation with an insight into what it takes to reach the top.
