BEC mourns the death of Peter A. Jensen

Badminton Europe Confederation, Badminton Denmark and the badminton world mourn the loss of Peter Aage Jensen. The former president of Badminton Denmark died on Monday aged 63 after a long illness.

Peter A. Jensen was active in his beloved badminton sport over a period of 50 years from a chairman of his hometown club Tåstrup IK Badminton to a member of the organzing committee of the World Championships in 1983 and 1999. He was the Vice President of Badminton Denmark from 1996 until 2007. From 2007 until 2013 he was President of Badminton Denmark.

Condolences go from the European badminton community to his family. The funeral will take place on Monday,27th April at 14.00 at Glostrup Krematoriums Kapel.
