Greenland has started to implement Shuttle Time. This was done through a shuttle Time Teacher course in connection with a Shuttle Time trainer / Tutor course which was held from 2 to 4 February 2015 in Ilulissat, Greenland. The 13 participants who followed the course are school teachers from the two local schools Jørgen Brønlund and Mathias Storch. The president of the Greenland Badminton Federation, Michael Kleist was also one of the participants.

The course was led by Jeroen van Dijk the Development Manager of Badminton Europe. The goal of the course was to educate enough certified Shuttle Time Trainers and Tutors to give the Greenland Badminton Federation the power and control to organise their own Shuttle Time courses in the future in their native language with their own course leaders.

On the first day of the course the focus was on learning how to use the resources and on delivering the lessons of the lessons plans book. The training of the delivering of the lessons took 75% of the first day and was done in three different tasks that got increasingly more difficult and demanding. At the end of the first day the participants felt comfortable to deliver the lessons and they all passed the Shuttle Time Teacher course.
The focus of the Trainer / Tutor course was on how to deliver and organise a Shuttle time course as a Trainer or Tutor. The first exercise of the course is always the most confusing and challenging one for the participants. It is very challenging because in the given task the participants have to change roles all the time. Most of the participants were able to deliver the lessons as a tutor at the end of the day due to the fact that they are school teachers and used to deliver lessons to students.

On the last day of the course the participants where taught how to be a Shuttle time Trainer, to give feedback and on what to focus when they are teaching adults. At the end of the last day all the participants got individual feedback regarding their performance on the course and which shuttle time status they achieved.  Four participants passed the course as Shuttle time trainer, 5 passed as a Shuttle Time Tutor and 4 passed as a Shuttle Time Teacher.
