The elite U15 and U17 girls from Denmark, England, France, Germany and Holland had the opportunity to practise together in a very intensive and high level trainings camp in Aire sur la Lys, France from 8 - 12 May 2014. The long term goal of the girls’ camp is to catch up with the level of the Asian girls and to give the European girls better chances to win Olympics medals.

The 26 players who were trained by seven experienced coaches practised more than six hours a day. The practice sessions consisted out of technical and tactical sessions on court, individual and team matches, physical training and video analysis.

The camp was a big success and the different activities on and off court built up a very good relationship between the players and coaches.
