The first stop in the 2023 European Circuit calendar is in Tallinn for the YONEX Estonian International, taking place from 12 until 15 January.

There is no action missing on the European stage despite the PETRONAS Malaysia Open currently taking place. We are kicking off the 2023 European Circuit calendar in Estonia with the country’s biggest event.

From Thursday 12 until Sunday 15 January, the YONEX Estonian International 2023 will be taking place at the Kalevi Sports Hall in Tallinn.

Follow all the action – live!
For those already in Estonia, there is free entrance on Thursday 12 for the Qualification stage. To attend the Main Draw on Friday 13, Saturday 14, and Sunday 15, you can get tickets here.

You can also watch all matches from home or on the go. Head to badmintoneurope.tv to follow the tournament; matches can be streamed live or you can watch later on demand.

Who will win?
Many of the European Circuit stars will be aiming to kick-start their new year with a medal in Estonia. The men’s singles main draw looks promising, with Alex Lanier defending the title, second seeded Victor Svendsen facing Joran Kweekel in the first round, and reigning champion Kristin Kuuba looking to win her second gold on home soil.

Estonia have another chance at a medal in the women’s doubles with Kati-Kreet Marran/ Helina Rüütel. We had no European men’s doubles medallists last year, but Joshua Magee/ Paul Reynolds and William Kryger Boe/ Christian Faust Kjaer could get to the podium in this edition.

All matches will be streamed from tomorrow at 8AM (CET) on badmintoneurope.tv.
