Another successful BWF/BEC Coach Education Level 1 course comes to an end, and so today Caldas welcomes the start of the BWF/BEC Tutor Level 1 course.

The BWF/BEC Coach Education Level 1 course came to an end yesterday, with all participants doing the individual assessments. However, it was a day of beginnings for some, as there were new participants arriving to Caldas to take part in a BWF/BEC Tutor Level 1 course.

A successful course
Yesterday morning it was individual assessment day for the course participants. They were given randomly chosen strokes, and the group was split so that every candidate would individually present a complete 25-minute badminton session based on the given stroke for its development and improvement.

- Overall, the assessments where as good as expected. All the participants were quite experienced from the beginning and a huge variety of exercises were successfully exchanged, Expert Martijn vaan Dooremalen said.

The high level of the participants provided everyone involved in the assessment, both participants and the expert, with very insightful and inspirational sessions. BEC member of staff onsite Mari Carmen Casermeiro is very positive about the outcome.

- The course has been an absolute success. All the participants managed to share among them different perspectives, ways of working and inspirational and creative sessions where they do not only learn from each other but also create a fantastic atmosphere full of joy from the beginning, Casermeiro explained.

Never stop learning
Today it was the turn of the BWF/BEC Tutor Level 1 course. It kicked off this morning and the participants are already well into their insightful sessions where there is so much to be shared.

-The coaches course has ended but we are now focused on the beginning of the next one, our BWF/BEC Tutor Level 1 course from 17 to 19 September. With a total of seven participants, it is based on how to teach coaches so it will be a different approach. If there is a takeaway from these successful courses, is to never stop learning, Casermeiro stated.
