Sudirman Cup squads are in

TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup 2021, the 17th edition of the tournament, will be played in Vantaa, Finland between 26 September – 3 October, and the 16 competing nations have submitted their squad lists. 

There are five teams from Europe who qualified from the 2021 European Mixed Team Championships which also took place in the Energia Areena in Vantaa, Finland. However, EMTC21 silver medallists France withdrew from the Sudirman Cup. 

Teams from Asia, Pan America, Oceania, and Africa were unable to play in their continental mixed team championships due to the pandemic, therefore these teams qualified based on the world rankings.

Other teams that make up the tournament have also submitted their squads. This includes the 11-time champions China, along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Korea, India, Chinese Taipei, Canada, Egypt and Tahiti.

All Olympic champions, with the exception of men’s doubles winners Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin, will be seen in action at the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup 2021. The full lists of the star-studded teams can be found here
