The next edition of ´European Para badminton Towards Tokyo 2020´ features Megan Hollander from the Netherlands.

The Dutch player competes in the Standing Upper 5 sport class in Para badminton and is one of the top European Para players.

Watch the video below to see how Hollander is looking forward to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and what she thinks about the Paralympics being held in Asia.

Right around the corner

For the first time in history, the Paralympics will include Para badminton which makes the Paralympics more special, especially for the badminton players. With less than one month left of the qualification period, the Paralympic dream is getting closer.

- Paralympics means a lot. It is a journey that I started with my mother, who passed away, so it is good that I can finish it on my own now. I really hope I get there, Hollander says.

As long as you do your best

Hollander practices around 10 times a week to be prepared in the best possible way for the Paralympics coming right around the corner.

- I think I have a chance, but it is going to be a tough road and it is going to be hard, Hollander says.

- But as long as you do your best, I think it should be fine, she ends.
