The European Men's & Women's Team Championships is played in week seven in even years. The event officially crowns the best male and female national teams in Europe and at the same time works as the European qualification event towards the Thomas & Uber Cup Finals.

The 2020 renewal of this prestigious event will be played in Liévin, France, from 11-16 February, in the Arena Stade Couvert.

As of yesterday, the team entries have officially closed for the 2020 European Men’s & Women’s Team Championships. 

We are happy to announce that thirty four Men’s Teams and twenty nine Women’s Teams have entered.

What next?

The all-important team seedings will be done according to the BWF World Ranking of 19 November 2019.The seeding will be published on 27 November 2019

Following this, the draw, which fans will be following closely, will determine group stages. This will be conducted and published on 3 December 2019. 

We will then find out which players will be representing their countries after 3 February 2020.
