For the second straight year Victor Svendsen will be playing the men’s singles final at the Belgian International.

Last year Victor Svendsen, Denmark, lost to English Toby Penty in the final at Belgian International. One year later he is now ready to take his second shot at the title.

After one hour and 18 minutes of play Svendsen fell to the ground celebrating his victory beating Kai Schaefer from Germany in the semifinal 21-19 19-21 21-15.

- I am really tired but I am also super happy about the game today. I have been training so hard the last month and today it pays off. I am so happy with this performance today, Svendsen said.

Ready to run
In the final on Sunday Victor Svendsen will play Lakshya Sen from India, who beat Danish Kim Bruun in the semifinal, and Svendsen is sure that he will recover fast despite of a long and tough match against Schaefer.

- I need to do like today. I am ready to put up a good show tomorrow. I have power for one more match and if I have to play two hours, I will play to hours. I will never give up, Svendsen stated.
