Which countries will be battling for the title?

The top eight badminton teams of Europe will battle it out to see who is the best. And there will certainly be no love loss when competing for this title. Play will commence a day before Valentine’s Day on the 13th February and conclude on finals day on the 17th February.

Seven European nations will secure their spots in qualification, which take place in just 4 weeks’ time from the 6-9 December. These nations will then join the hosts, who for the 3rd time, will be reigning Champions Denmark. 

So who will be there?

The seven qualification groups and their locations are set:

1 – England, Hungary, Belgium, Italy (Milton Keynes, England)
2 – Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Scotland (Ciorescu, Moldova)
3 – Netherlands, Iceland, Portugal, Switzerland (Caldas da Rainha, Portugal)
4 – France, Slovakia, Estonia, Faroe Islands (Aire sur la lys, France)
5 – Germany, Austria, Sweden, Slovenia (Erlangen, Germany)
6 – Spain, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Poland (Sobótka, Poland)
7 – Bulgaria, Ireland, Finland, Israel, Latvia, Norway (Sofia, Bulgaria)
