Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva won their first match at the YONEX French Open in Paris. Marvin Emil Seidel and Linda Efler also reached the next round of the tournament. 

On Tuesday, the first matches of the YONEX French Open 2018 got underway.
Thereby, Gabriela and Stefani were able to win in the first round of the tournament against the South Korean pair, Kim Hye Jeoung and Kong Hee Yong, with 21-13 and 21-18.

The victory in Paris is a special one for the sisters, as they are currently living in Paris: 

- We enjoy playing in Paris. It is our second home, we are very happy to have won at home today, Gabriela Stoeva said after the match. 

- We played better than at the Denmark Open last week. We are very happy with our performance today, Stefani Stoeva added. 

Seidel and Efler in the next round 

Next, to the Women’s Doubles, another European pair has reached the next round of the tournament, after a tough match: Marvin Emil Seidel and Linda Efler. 

The German pair won 19-21, 26-24 and 1-1 before their opponents, He Jiting and Du Yue from China retired. 

Their next opponents in the round of 16 are Takuro Hoki and Wakana Nagahara from Japan.
