This edition of ´European Para-Badminton Towards Tokyo 2020´ features Nina Gorodetzky from Israel.

Nina has always been a sports addict, she was playing tennis when she was younger and started to swim after she got a car accident. Unfortunately a back injury forced her to find another sport as she could not get into the water anymore.

This is when badminton entered her life.
"I loved it" she says. She could quickly notice her improvements and that motivated her to go on and start her badminton career.

"Badminton is like a big family". For sure Nina loves the sport, but she also loves the social aspect that brings para-badminton. She cherishes every single moment she spends at trainings and tournaments with the other players and coaches.

Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games are a main goal for Nina who shares her fighting spirit: "I like challenges".

Nina is also very thankful towards the people who helped her on the way. Coaches, family, husband, they all gave her this extra motivation that keeps her focused on her goals.

We wish Nina good luck in her Paralympic dream!
