The World Badminton Federation (BWF) is organizing a Coach Education Level 3-course next month at Badminton Europe (BEC) Centre of Excellence.

The course will be a tutor and coach education course and will take place from 22-28 September at the BEC Centre of Excellence.

The objectives of the courses are to provide an opportunity for continuing development of coaches at the highest level, while having level 3 tutors conduct level 3 courses for the European Member Associations.

Besides candidates for tutors and coaches, there will also be space for a limited number of "observer candidates" from the more developed countries who have not implemented the BWF Coach Education programme.

These candidates will not be certified as Level 3 Coaches, but they could opt for certification once the equivalency process is in place, pending successful completion of course tasks. We kindly ask interested candidates to contact their national federation for the prerequisites to participate.

Final details
The BWF will cover accommodation and food during the courses, for up to two participants from each Member Association. Please do not make any travel arrangements before receiving confirmation from Badminton Europe. The deadline to send in applications is Thursday 30 August 2018.

Travel costs for the participants will not be covered by the BWF or Badminton Europe. Travel related costs have to be covered by the Member Associations or participants.

The Centre of Excellence is currently located at Stenhus Gymnasium in the city of Holbæk. Transportation from the airport to the city Holbæk will be by train.

All applications must be sent to Badminton by the Member Associations. The BWF and BEC will review the applications and CVs and willsend confirmations to the Member Associations. We can only accept a limited number of 16 participants for the course.
