The young team from Finland is ready to fight for the medals at the 2018 European Men’s Championships.

From Group 7 Finland is ready for the quarter-finals after beating Turkey 5-0 in their last match of the day on Wednesday.

That was the third win for Finland in Kazan after beating Estonia and Norway, and with that victory they secured a spot between the last eight nations.

Ready for everybody
Iikka Heino played twice against Turkey, and the player from the BEC Centre of Excellence is happy, that he is going on court at least two times more.

- We played really good against Turkey, and I am very happy, that we are through to the quarter-finals, Iikka Heino says after the tie against Turkey.

- We are ready for everybody, and we are ready to fight for a medal. It will be difficult, and we have to play our best, but we have a good and young team, and everything is possible, I think.
