Badminton Europe is excited to announce that Terme Olimia in Podčetrtek, Slovenia, once again will host the 2017 BEC Summer School.

“We have great memories from the last couple of years in Podčetrtek, and we are very happy to be going back there for 2017”, says Jeroen van Dijk, BEC manager and the primary responsible for the Summer School.

“Terme Olimia has the perfect facilities for an event like BEC Summer School”

It will be the forth, and third successive, time that Podcetrtek and the badminton association of Slovenia is hosting the BEC Summer School.

The project combines educating coaches and training young players during a camp one week during the summer, and has done so the last 35 years. Which make the initiative is the longest running development activity in the history of Badminton Europe.

In 2017, the Summer School is set for July 8-15, and invitations will soon be sent out to Member Associations.
