Combined level 1 and 2 course in Oviedo, Spain

Badminton Europe is happy to inform you that we will organise a combined BWF/BEC level 1 and level 2 Coach Education Course for (former) players. We are doing this in close cooperation with the Spanish Badminton federation. The course is open to former players but also players who have ambitions to become a coach in the future.

The objectives of the combined BWF/BEC level 1 and level 2 Coach Education Course for former players are:

• To educate former players to coaches to utilise their skills and experience that they have acquired in their active careers.

Prerequisites for participants:

• Must have been a top 150 player on the world ranking.
• Speak English on an intermediate level.

Planning
The course will be held from 16 - 22 October 2016 in Oviedo, Spain.

The course will start early in the morning on Sunday 16 October 2016 and finish on Saturday 22 October 2016 at 18:00.

Participants are expected to arrive on Saturday 15 October 2016 and depart Sunday 23 October 2016 in the morning. Transport from the hotel to the airport will be arranged by the organisers.

Support

BWF / Badminton Europe will cover the following:

• 8 night's accommodation in a double room including breakfast
• 7 lunches and dinner (one on each course day)

Travel costs for the participants will not be covered by Badminton Europe. Travel related costs have to be covered by Member Associations or participants.


Registration

All applications have to be sent to us by the Member Associations.

To register your applicant(s) please send the following documents to jeroen.vandijk@badmintoneurope.com

• “Participant’s application” form (attached to this letter)
•  Participant’s CV in English

The deadline to send in applications is 1 September 2016.

Badminton Europe will review the applications and CVs and will make a selection out of the entries.

Please do not make any travel arrangements before receiving confirmation from Badminton Europe.

Additional details about the venue and other arrangements will be communicated closer to the course.
