Memorandum of Understanding

in 2022, the first cycle of 2-year MoUs between BEC and some of our Members came to an end. Following the 2022 annual survey results, 33 BEC Members received a new MoU draft to continue the cooperation and further development of our sport in their countries.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) first got underway officially on Friday, 27th November 2020 where all Member Associations (MAs) were contacted and informed about this initiative. It is the first time that Badminton Europe (BEC) reaches out to the MAs to formalise  strategic cooperation and enter into personalised  discussions with our MAs.

The goal of the cooperation is to assist BEC Members in developing badminton in their respective countries and improve their development level within these five areas:

•Administration
•Communication
•Participation
•Events
•High Performance
